  2. Describe your race day.

It was beautiful and FAST. It was well organized and I loved that the lodge opened their doors to us so we could keep warm. The only disappointment was the parking and shuttling. It took me an hour to get to my car and out of the mess of traffic so I could go home. I waited 20 minutes in line for the shuttle and finally left and walked......which after 26.2 miles of running..... A shuttle did apparently come after I left but a friend who waited said she had to wait for a second one because the line was so long.
But otherwise, it was GREAT. Good job.

  3. Did you PR?

yes. I beat my previous PR from 5 years ago by a little over 11 minutes. I did BQ along with 4 others from our running group. Yay!!!

  4. How would you describe the course?

Beautiful, Fast and a must do.

  5. Tell us about your training.

I only got up on Mt. Charlie (as the locals call it) twice due to weather issues. But I was actually training for a May marathon and one of our ladies from run club called me to offer her bib since she was injured. I decided to take it, as I love Mt. Charlie. Advice......cross train and train with some steep long downhills.

  6. What advice would you give future runners?

Same as above. An out of town friend from a past run club that I recognized on the course, (that was fun) said they stayed in the cabins at the start and that he would highly recommend that.

  7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I'm local so worked. But our club went to lunch on Fri and over to the expo.
