The volunteers were amazing, the course was very well mapped and if course fast...i will be doing it again!
Yes! I PR'd by 1 minute 43 seconds! If halves can qualify for Boston then yes
Beautiful, fast. Easy on the legs cause the down grade isn't too steep
I trained hard, I ram 60-70 miles a week with challenging tempo and track works every week
Train on down hill so your legs are prepared
I loved the results table I traveled from St George, UT
Revel did a wonderful job but I was diappointed our National Anthum wasn't at race start. Fast course as I expected. Runners littered often which disgusted me but that's not Revels fault.
My first marathon and BQ.
Fast! First part beautiful. Second just desert but pretty and different from what I am used to.
I live in Henderson so I ran alot in the rural areas. Did downhill training with two 2x4s under the back of my treadmill.
Train down hill
2 weeks before checked out route and hiked to Mary Jane Falls.
More garbage cans at start and aid stations please. Love we had access to the restaurant to keep warm before the race started.

Overall it was a good run. I wasn't as prepared as last year but did ok.
No
I preferred last year's course and finish line better.
One day a week for the past seven months. :(
Wear layers and prepare by running hills.
Nothing
Very well organized and nice run down the mountain.
I agree l. I preferred last year's course too!
Downhill for the first 8 miles and flat thereafter
My wife did. I ran with her to provide support.
Mostly open, straight, and remarkably consistent grade. Very fast, especially with the tail wind.
I haven't run much because of an injury. I had to switch from the full to the half marathon.
Hike Red Rock Canyon, visited Children's Museum, visited The Strip.
My only criticism is that it is inconvenient to have the parking 1 mile away from the finish. There was a long wait to get on a shuttle back to the parking. Seems like you should be able to find a way to end the race closer to where people can park.
That comment was from Mike Simpson, not Tracy Heywood. :-(
Another great Revel race! I realized after the finish that I ran the race in the Big Cottonwood shirt from 2016, wore the sweatshirt for the Canyon City from 2014 to keep warm after the race and was wearing the Mt Charleston medal from 2017!Only thing left is to do Denver!
It was one of the greatest experiences ever, thank you!
Very well organized, the track was filled with great views!
Perfect (except for the short uphill lol) Great views throughout the race, great location!
I will train more next time but regardless the course was great!
Train!!!
I live in las vegas. But eat pasta the night before!
Our bus driver is lost! We are trying to get to the race.
12 minutes faster
awesome fast and great!
Great race will definitely do it again!
I couldn't believe how fast I was able to run down the mountain! It was a well organized race and I was impressed from start to finish. I thought the announcer at the finish line was very energetic and motivating when finishing the race. It is definitely one race that I would like to run again!
YES! I had already had a fast PR and I couldn't believe that I was able to beat that time!
Excellent. It was well thought out, but could have more water stations.
I'm currently training for Grandma's Marathon and I decided to run this race to see how my training was coming along. Also, I choose to run the half to get a feel for what running downhill feels like on my legs before I decide to run a full marathon.
Speed / interval training is a key workout to focus on running cadence / turnover to prepare for running fast down a hill.
After the race, I checked into a hotel on the Strip and saw the Michael Jackson ONE show to celebrate my new PR in the half! I traveled to the race from Minneapolis, MN.
