    2. Describe your race day.

I got up early to catch a bus. As we began the race thebsnow began which was a lot of fun. The race was quick and we'll organized.

    3. Did you PR?

I did PR and qualify for Boston for the first time. I came in ready and set a PR by over 20 minutes.

    4. How would you describe the course?

The course was fast, beautiful and painful.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I run a minimum of seven miles a day with a race of varying distance each weekend.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

I'm not sure there is much you can do to really prepare for the course unless you run in similar terrain. Have your mileage up and be ready for more time off after that normal.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I went to run. So I ran. I came for one night from California.

    2. Describe your race day.

A little cold, but with the info given before the race, I was prepared and grateful for the beenie, gloves, and blanket. Very surprised. Volunteers were wonderful, and with the cones and police directing traffic, I felt safe. Can't wait to do another Revel Run!

    3. Did you PR?

Didn't PR, because I stayed with a friend I wanted to support and she did great!

    4. How would you describe the course?

Loved the scenery. Absolutely beautiful. A little tight at first with so many runners going down half a lane, but soon thinned out. The grade was perfect for me

    5. Tell us about your training.

I didn't get much time to prepare for this run since I didn't know about till I seen it on Facebook 2 weeks prior. The pacers were a great help. They encouraged us and gave advise that was very helpful.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Don't miss this run! Take in all the info given and you will experience one of the best runs ever.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Expo was great. Able to get all questions answered and got a few items. Took of ton of photos before and after the run. Loved the announcer at the finish line and the food was great. Traveled from Bullhead City, AZ

I ran a lot.. Putting some miles in and resting a few days before the race helped.

Yup. Beat it by 20 min!

    2. Describe your race day.

It was amazing!! This race was well organized. All of the runners were supportive. This was my first half marathon and it was an awesome experience. Everything about is race was beautiful.

    3. Did you PR?

This is my first race but my normal pace during training was 10 mins per mile and I was able to finish in under 2 hours!!! So I did surpass my PR

    4. How would you describe the course?

The downhill expererince is fast. It was beautiful. The weather was perfect for running.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I did a 12 week training program. It worked well and prepared me for this race. Train, train, train!!! With training is so easy to compete this course.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Dress warm and be ready to shed layers after the race starts.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Ate pie! And pizza. However the face that there was no re entry to the finish area was not communicated well. My family met me at the finish line and I was so excited to see them and so happy to finish that I didn't get my pie or pizza first. Some runners had to run to the restroom and staff was not letting them back in the finishers area for food. So other runners passes us good over the fence. I would suggest changing this. As long as the runner has on a bib and a medal you should let them pass to get their goodies. Or communicate before a runner leaves the area that they can not re enter

    2. Describe your race day.

It snowed the first few miles, then rained once we got down. How cool is that? Perfect weather.

    3. Did you PR?

Not sure, my first marathon since age 31. My only goal was not to get picked up by the slowpoke wagon, so I guess YES. Sorry I don't know my qualifying time for the Boston Marathon.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Very smooth transition from the sudden downhill pass to the gentle up hills that transitions into flat course until the finish line. Great for new biggeners in marathon running.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I don't do serious training, run 6 miles few times a week around the neigborhood. I would be more serious about training for a marathon. Get expert advice on setting up a work/training calender and follow it religiously. And eating right is also an essential part of training.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train, train, train and do Mt Charleston if it's your first Marathon or you just want a fun course. Travel tips: Came to Las Vegas, tourist friendly place. Course tips: take advantage of the downhills, dress in layers, tie your shoes in "heel lock" fashion toavoid ankle blisters- weather tips? Hope we have the same next year

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Went gambling, ate and shopped a little. I drove from San Bernardino after work(am) easy, no brainer 3hr drive
(Okay, I did a little speeding here and there)

    2. Describe your race day.

It was very casual and more relaxing. I really enjoyed the run on the mountain.

    3. Did you PR?

This is my second 1/2 marathon. My first was last years Rock and Roll Marathon 2015 and my time was 2:55:00 I was satisfied with the time being my first 1/2 and with the conditions rain, wind and the cold.
Revel Mt. Charleston 2:25:31 and I PR by30 minutes. This course is definitely fast.

    4. How would you describe the course?

I liked the course. More room for the runners. The course was great! But then again I did finish very strong.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Honestly, I did more training for the Rock and Roll marathon was more intense. Interesting, I only started training in mid March, and PR by 30 minutes. Fast course!!!

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train hard and on marathon day reap the rewards of your training and enjoy the moment with the view.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

None, I watched and cheered the runners at the finish line.

THANK YOU to all the VOLUNTEERS.

    2. Describe your race day.

Couldn't ask for a better organized race. Everything from packet pickup, to shuttles,to porta potties, to finish line and picking up gear. So well done.

    3. Did you PR?

I did not. But I did run under 3:30 which was my sole goal.

    4. How would you describe the course?

It was a great course. Fast for the first 18 island then flattens out. If you trained right this would be a fantastic PR course. Gorgeous scenery as well.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I am coming off another couple of marathons this spring so this race just fit in. I didn't do any downhill training. Could've helped maybe but honestly - the grade was such I don't know that it was necessary.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Be prepared for the flat. You fly down the course and then you hit the flat and your speed may go away (at least it did for me). Lube up your feet. You're likely to get blisters if you don't.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

We were in town for less than 24 hours - we were just here for the race. I was here from Kansas City.

The only thing I find curious is the lack of paper cups and using plastic instead. Tough to pinch and keep running. Everything else is spot on!-

    2. Describe your race day.

I broke 4 hours for only the second time in 32 marathons, my last sub-4 finish was in 1999. So, I'd say I had a good day. Loved the snow flurries in the first few miles. The course did not feel as much downhill as Canyon City, but the uphills were a lot easier today than at Canyon City. I can't say I've ever run a marathon that started out with snow and ended with warm sunny weather, followed by drizzles. We had every type of weather today! Great race.

    3. Did you PR?

No, but I got my second sub-4 marathon in 32 tries, the first one was in 1999 when I was 45 and ran 3:55 in Los Angeles . So, it only took me 17 years to run a sub-4 again (now I'm 62).

    4. How would you describe the course?

Slightly downhill most of the 26 miles, with a few insignificant uphills.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Long runs, short runs, downhill runs. I train year-round with a group of LA Leggers.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Practice running downhill at marathon pace.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Walked the Strip. I drove up from LA.
