Run this race. It's the most organized race I've ever ran.
This was my first 1/2 marathon. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from the volunteers to the other runners. I loved the course too. I had a great experience!
It was my first race.
It was perfect. Of course, this being my first race I don't have anything to compare it to. The weather cooperated too, thank goodness.
I followed an 8 week training course that I found online.
Enjoy! I look forward to doing it again!
I live 10 minutes from the park so I didn't do much of anything before or after the race.
Well organized, and a fun race!
No, but not because of the race.
Great course. Scenic and the road was in very good shape (no pot holes).

No I didn't but that was my fault
It was great
I didn't do much training
I live here
I loved the snow at the start. I liked that there are a few small inclines on the course!!
No, but I ran a 50 miler 3 weeks prior and 3 weeks before that a 35 miler with 11,700 ft of gain. This race was to get my quads ready for Western States 100. I was hoping to run 3:39 and I ran 3:31. My PR is 3:30.30 at CIM
Pretty scenery, steep to gradual descents to flat with some uphill at the end.
Training for a 100 so... This was not a focus race but a training race.
Train for downhill but also being able to run after the down hill so you don't blow up.
Hiked and next time we want to stay longer and explore the trails.
Very well organized
