Description

• Marathon

  The marathon begins at the summit of the Mt. Rose Highway which stands at the elevation of 8,911 feet. The first nine miles will wind itself down passing the Mt. Rose and Sky Tavern Ski Areas whilst taking in beautiful views of the Reno Valley below.

  Runners will take a right off of the Mt. Rose Highway to enjoy the quiet, mountain residential roads of Galena Estates. After traversing through the private Montreux Golf Club area, runners will run on Callahan Road, returning to the Mt. Rose Highway once again.

  Runners will make their way through town via the Thomas Creek Parkway, Zolezzi Lane, Dixon Lane, and Del Monte Lane. The final stretch will bring runners through Kietzke Lane and end at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.

  The marathon course will be USATF certified. Certification is currently pending.

• Half Marathon

  The Half Marathon begins near the Galena Creek Trailhead off of Callahan Road. After a slight uphill start, the half marathon will wind its way through the streets of Reno via the Thomas Creek Parkway and other residential areas.

  Runners will get a great mix of farm land and urban areas on the west side of Reno before ending at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.

• 10K

  For those looking to get involved with this year's REVEL Reno Tahoe event, we are offering a 10K for the ver first time.

  The 10K starts near town and will run through the west part of the city before ending at the Reno Sparks Convention Center.
