Consistent Efforts and Final Surge Yciar Imatz participated in the 2026 REVEL Reno Tahoe Half Marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course with an overall time of 2:46:30, maintaining an average pace of 12:42 min/mile. Yciar ran consistently through the first half, maintaining a pace around the 11-minute mark, notably improving pace during the third mile with a split of 10:27 min/mile, which was significantly faster than the preceding splits. In the second half, the pace slowed, with some splits stretching over 14 minutes, until a stronger finish at the 13th mile with a split time of 12:59. Yciar improved position in the final mile, closing out at 31st in the F40-44 division, out of 39 runners. Despite a slow down mid-race, Yciar displayed resilience and managed a strong finish, demonstrating great potential for pacing consistency in future races.
