  2. Describe your race day.

Race day was beautiful. The weather was chilly at the start, but as you made your way down the mountain the weather became very comfortable. The views were breathtaking running above the cloudily and seeing the sun come up. The first half of the race is a true treasure.

  3. Did you PR?

I did! I PRd by three minutes on this course. I am not fast enough (yet) for a BQ but when I am ready this is the course I will do it on. Hands Down.

  4. How would you describe the course?

Beautiful. Scenic. Lots of trees and blue skies. Extremely fast and downhill. Amazing aid stations and volunteers. I ran this course and stopped several times because nature was just too breath taking to pass it by.

  5. What advice would you give future runners?

Practice running hills and running downhill. Downhill running is very hard on the body so make sure you practice your stride and strength training. Bring something to bundle up in in the morning and something to throw away. Once you start cooking down hill you'll warm right up/

  6. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I'm pretty local so I enjoyed sleeping in a little longer haha.
