V good course, great conditions, I hadn't trained as well as I should have for this race. I was focussing to run 3:13 but ended up with 3:25.
no
Easy, great gradient to run a PR
Not a structured training , about 40 miles per week of training
Train for downhills.
Just race. Travelled from San Jose, CA
Perfect course to PR.
It was a great day! I sure will do it again. I ran with my friends and we had a great day
It was great!
I would have trained harder
Train hard
Get massages and eat
I would recommend this race to my friends
Yes... I shaved an hour off my total time
The first 13 is awesome
Watch out for wind and careful on those up hils
Its beautiful! I was impressed with so many runners. The organizer did a fantastic job!
It's my first half marathon. Did in 3 hours.
Beautiful
I haven't trained for the race. I was going to walk, but I did better than that.

Waiting in line after the race for 45 min for the shuttle back to the parking lot was ridiculous. Wish you would have had a new design on the sweatshirts then last year. Our group was looking forward to buying new hoodies but they were the same as last year so none of us did
Yes. By 2 min
Loved the course
Followed Hal higdon training program
Ephrata WA
I agree. I didn't like the wait for the shuttle back especially since I was driving back to Arizona right after race which was like a 6 hour drive
Everything about this race was A-1.
No PR (close but off by less than 2 minutes). I did BQ by -11 minutes.
Very manageable downhill. Speedy.
Revel Online Coaching!
Train for downhill and get used to running faster than normal.
Very organized! This was my first full marathon!
Beautiful in the mountains!
Nike training booklet. Weekly orange theory fitness workouts and long runs on the weekend.
Don't do it unless you are trained
Went to Cardenas to grab 6 pounds of carne asada and beans and rice
Very happy with the race. Super organized and great month to have it.
It was an amazing day. I ran with the 1:30 pacer for most of the race and forgive me for not remembering his name but he made the race a memorable one. Very positive, motivating and he was right on pace! Great job as a pacer!
Yes I did PR! I beat my previous pr by almost 3 minutes. I ran the half, of Boston accepted half times I would have qualified!!
Exactly as described! The downhill was perfect and the slight uphill at mile 11 was brutal after running downhill for so long. Helped build character.
I incorparerd a lot of downhill runs in an effort to become familiar how to run downhills for long distances. I'd tell Runners New to downhills to ensure they train on downhill or they could get injured.
Be ready for all types of weather at the start. While it maybe warmer down by the finish line the temps up at the start were much cooler and with the wind it made it more chilly. Dress in layers and be ready to shed them off.
I came from Rancho Cucamonga California l, about 3 hours from Vegas. Didn't do much before the race but after I went to the Vegas strip to celebrate my PR at the Hard Rock Cafe! Eating at HRC is a tradition of mine.
Absolutely amazing race, organization and the volunteers were great. One minor thing to look into, the gear bags tore very easily. At the starting line mine tore and fortunately a volunteer had another but they also said they've seen a number of them tear. Other than that, great event!!
Awesome
Yes

Long :) perfect for the venue
working hard 7 days per week running and cross training bike and weights and rest/recovery
