    2. Describe your race day.

Seeing my friends volunteering at the race.
      Crossing finish line with announcer.

    3. Did you PR?

No. Close to last PR by 4 minutes

    4. How would you describe the course?

Course was great did not like the change to the course lotta uphill last miles along with major headwind on change to course on Oso Blanca. Rest of course was great. Scenery pretty loved it

    5. Tell us about your training.

      None

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Don't throw there clothes in the middle of the course it is a safety hazard for runners. It's in the handbook to leave at checkpoint but this was not done. Also I saw people using the restroom right off the course. ☹️ With the wind, cups were flying in the desert because trash was overflowing.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

      Local

    2. Describe your race day.

It started with some anxiety yet the wonderful bus ride with so many other marathoners who were so open and friendly helped. The cafe in the mountains was great and the race, volunteers, layout of the turaine and most if all the beautiful scenery was spectacular!!! Lastly the finish was warm; though I finished last at 6.33 the announcer as well as the other volunteers made me feel like I was first.... Thank you!

    3. Did you PR?

      No; was not trying

    4. How would you describe the course?

      The course was very good;

    5. Tell us about your training.

Unfortunately I had an injury in Feb which stopped my training for 8 weeks.... Also my father passed away three weeks again putting training last..

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train and prepare for the marathon. It is a fgreatfast pace however it can be a challenge without proper training.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Not much; hoping to hang out at the Vegas strip tomorrow after recovering from the marathon.

    2. Describe your race day.

      Running a PB!

    3. Did you PR?

Yes! I ran the Half. PR'd by about 90 seconds (1:25:30) ...which I'm very happy with at 56 years of age.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Fair - the last 7.5ks are hard work, but after all the downhill, nobody has any cause for complaint. The road was flat - ie, no troublesome camber - and uncrowded. The drink stations were plentiful and well-spaced. The Start and Finish areas were well organized.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Nothing special - or even specific. Having run two marathons in the last three months my legs were far from fresh, so I trained accordingly. My usual mix is: 1 x speed session, 1 x tempo run, and one long run each week + 3 easy an short runs (70-80ks/week).

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Don't overtrain. And don't overthink the art of downhill running....

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

My first visit to Las Vegas! (From Australia.)

    2. Describe your race day.

I love the course. I got my newest PR on this course, this was my 33rd half marathon so it took a lot of work but I really enjoyed this and the pizza and pie at the end too. I will come back.

    3. Did you PR?

Yes with a 2 hour 40 minute time, I PRed by more than 7 minutes at least. . I may try to do the full someday but don't think I would be fast enough for Boston.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Easy and enjoyable because it is mostly all downhill. It is scenic. I loved being able to start from an area where could see Mt. Charleston covered in snow.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I don't train a lot so this is a nice race for someone like me that outside of running races almost every week for training I don't run outside of races really.

    6. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I didn't stay much for after stuff and before I just picked up my packet and got on the bus for the race.

Awesome race. Only thing that could change is having more shuttles available for runners after the race so there isn't a big line and everyone can get on a bus whenever.

    2. Describe your race day.

Race day was really well organized and the race started right on time. Very windy and a bit cold at the race parking, but not too bad at the race start. During the race, wind was at our backs or not an issue.

    3. How would you describe the course?

Great course - well defined route, mile markers and lots of water, aid, and port-o-potty stations throughout.

    4. Tell us about your training.

      Did not train.

This is one of the best races I have run, as far as race logistics. Packet pick up was super-easy and the entire process, start-to finish was organized and professional. The only suggestion I have would be to have an American Flag at the starting area during the National Anthem.

    2. Describe your race day.

Very pleasant overall. Loved the shuttles. Could have used water at the start. All the volunteers were so lovely! Thank you for letting us stay warm in the lodge. I love this course. Hope to come again next year. At the start I would have liked to have pacers lined up and viewable. Never found the pacer I wanted.

    3. Did you PR?

Yes. I was shooting for 3:53 and finished at 3:48. This was a 31 minute PR for me. No BQ but I knew I wasn't ready for that yet

    4. How would you describe the course?

Beautiful and fast. Great scenery in the beginning. Cold!

    5. Tell us about your training.

      Steady long runs.
