    2. Describe your race day.

I would recommend more porta potties at the start location. There were a lot at drop off, and I needed to use one again before starting (nerves), but there were lines there and I got a 10 minute late start. This had me anxious because I really wanted to PR today. I passed a lot of people, but spent a lot of time bobbing and weaving through the crowds to start because I was mixed in with walkers and at the back of the pack.

    3. Did you PR?

No, I didn't PR like I wanted. The new course had rolling hills at the end I wasn't expecting/prepared for.

    4. How would you describe the course?

It's a downhill run start through mile 7. Then it flattens out a bit, and even small decent until mile 10. At mile 10 there's a turn and you're facing rolling hills for the last three miles.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I had surgery mid training so I was out for two weeks. I did better than I expected, but not my best. I trained with a friend who is slower than I am, and used Aaptiv app for outdoor/treadmill runs.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Be prepared for rolling hills when you are fatigued. The last 5k of the course is NOT only downhill, but has uphill and flat spots as well.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

The end of the race seemed a bit more clustered this year, but during the expo I tried the rapid reboot which was cool. I would have used them post run but the line was long. I live in Henderson.

    2. Describe your race day.

Absolutely loved it! Chilly start, but great course! I'll definitely add it to my list of favorite go to every year races! Loved all the side stations with porta potty, swag bags were great! No complaints!

    3. Did you PR?

      No

    4. How would you describe the course?

Gorgeous, perfect amount of downhill, not too steep.

    5. Tell us about your training.

My sister and I workout and run together reguarly.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

      Do it! (Bring a jacket!)

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Came from Arizona, we travel to Vegas a couple times a year. The usual shopping and fun!

    2. Describe your race day.

Excellent. Everything that was promised. It was great to see so many who had PRs and/or BQs.

    3. Did you PR?

No because of the crazy out and back at mile 24. Why? It killed people when they turned the corner and saw a hill and a headwind. Overall time was 3:34 (3rd fastest). Could have blown it out the water because I was running great and looking at 3:20. BQ by 21 minutes.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Great, except for out and back

    5. Tell us about your training.

      Treadmill decline

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train for decline and build up you quads. Race hotel (Marriott) a little disappointing. No food in the morning. Bar not open until 5pm. Plus a long way from the Strip, the start, and the expo. Expo could be at the hotel. Anna is great. Lots of communication and constantly keeps you updated.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Flew in late from Atlanta. I asked for a packet pick up at the bus location. The packet guy was at a table with no sign or light. Pretty stressful. Not sure it was worth the cost.

    2. Describe your race day.

Amazing beautiful course and very well organized race! The weather was nice and cool. The headwind was tough for the uphill part of mile 23...ugh! Other than that, the course was super fast. I would highly

    3. Did you PR?

I did PR by over 6 minutes and qualified for Boston.

    4. How would you describe the course?

      FAST!!! SUPER FAST!!!

    5. Tell us about your training.

I trained with Revel Coach Paul. He sent weekly (sometimes more) emails with training expectations/tips, race strategies and promptly responded to any questions I had. Paul and the Revel Training program helped prepare me for the DOWNHILL marathon.

    6. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

My husband and I traveled from Houston and enjoyed hanging out in Vegas before and after the marathon.

    2. Describe your race day.

I believe I got a 10K PR but can't verify since the splits were at 7.1 and 12.1. Seem to be dumb places to put them. 5K, 10K, and possibly 15K would have been more informative to assessing my race.

    3. Did you PR?

No, missed my half-marathon PR by 9 seconds. This course was fast, but not as fast as Parowan.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Great course overall. Not much to see other than desert, but I was also busy monitoring my pace.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Needed to do more of it, especially downhill training.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Super fast course, great for a PR or for a first time half marathoner. Layers for the start and utilize the bag drop which seemed to work flawlessly. Don't be afraid to use the downhill gravity to your advantage down Kyle Canyon Rd, you will slow down at the bottom.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I live just three miles from the finish. I was happy to sleep in my own bed and be ready to go in the morning.

    2. Describe your race day.

Warm restaurant at the start was a pleasant surprised on a cold morning. Great gentle downhill course. Race went well with a PR, BQ and NYC marathon qualifying time.

    3. Did you PR?

PR by over 3 minutes and BQ by almost 28 minutes.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Gentle downhill and fastest marathon course I've run. Faster and easier than Revel Canyon City.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I follow a personalized trainig plan by a professional coach, including speed and hill training. I recommend that runners train for the continuous downhill.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train for the downhill and enjoy the expertence.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

      Traveled from Los Angeles.

    2. Describe your race day.

Great race, hit the wall at mile 22, tough last 4 miles, but great course. I would love to see chocolate milk at the end of race. And more fruit options instead of just bananas (oranges)

    3. Did you PR?

      Nope

    4. How would you describe the course?

Didn't love the out and back and the gradual climb from mile 23-24, but the canyon was beautiful and great

    5. Tell us about your training.

I got injured a month before the race, so I missed my last 20 miler.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Consistent training as well as speed and interval workouts and downhill training are essential!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

      From Utah (cedar hills).

    2. Describe your race day.

The volunteers were amazing, the course was very well mapped and if course fast...i will be doing it again!

    3. Did you PR?

Yes! I PR'd by 1 minute 43 seconds! If halves can qualify for Boston then yes

    4. How would you describe the course?

Beautiful, fast. Easy on the legs cause the down grade isn't too steep

    5. Tell us about your training.

I trained hard, I ram 60-70 miles a week with challenging tempo and track works every week

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train on down hill so your legs are prepared

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

      I loved the results table
I traveled from St George, UT
