    2. Describe your race day.

Amazing! Loved running through the fog. Such a beautiful course!

    3. Did you PR?

Did not PR but that was not the goal. I "revel" in the run itself so for me it was a run for fun.

    4. How would you describe the course?

The start of the full had some hills but the overall grade of the course was perfect. Seeing the view of the valley and running into the fog is an experience that I won't forget (in a good way).

    5. Tell us about your training.

      Training? What's that?

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

If you are going for a time goal, listen to the coaching sessions on Facebook and run smart. If you are not going for a time goal, make sure to look up and enjoy the scenery.

A special shout out to Jared and Clark. Revel know how to treat their runners well. It is not only a company that puts on great runs but a shining example of what customer service should be.

    2. Describe your race day.

This race reminded me that I’m a Runner! I haven’t been training for this race due to work. I have been dealing with food poisoning for 2 weeks now! I was able to run 13.1 miles slowly without ever stopping due it’s great course!

    3. Did you PR?

      No

    4. How would you describe the course?

Excellent! Love how it was downhill and no inclines!

Please have hand sanitizer at portable potties. No school buses. Our legs were squeezed in. We like the charter buses. Love all the sponsors!

    2. Describe your race day.

The weather was perfect, the race was highly organized and the water stations were highly stocked and it was nice to have them at every 2 miles.

    3. Did you PR?

      I PR’d by 12 min!!!!!

    4. How would you describe the course?

The course was absolutely beautiful and fast!

    5. Tell us about your training.

Training was really hard because I live in Las Vegas and had to do most of my long runs in very hot and sunny weather.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Choose a nice hotel. Dress in layers so you are able to take them off as the weather warms up. Choose a pair of shoes that best fit you. I wear and swear by adidas ultraboost.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

We spent the day at the octoberfest in Big Bear.

I am horrified by all of the litter left along Highway 38. There are cups, banana peels, and orange peels all the way down the highway. I am very disappointed in a company that would do this. You need to send somebody up to clean it! You also need to pay the facilities who allowed you to place ports potty’s and support materials on their propert. The highway was extremely unsafe for drivers. With a bus going down in the uphill lane that was open. Why was police escort not provided. Someone could have been killed. Very unhappy with your organization!!!

Chill out Angelus oaks,,,,the organization will clean up,,,they have to wait until all runners are completed in the race. Revel is an upstanding class act. Sounds like whining from you about NIMBY. Give it a couple of hours, The sheriffs patrolled and nailed a few local idiots driving into traffic and parking on the road blocking it. For both directions. Overall, nice event, great weather thanks REVEL,,,,Mike

I felt the race was well run and a beautiful course. It was a little sketchy with cars on the last few miles. Cars were going to fast and ignoring cones once we were in town. Also for next year is their any way to have the parking where the finish line is! Taking a second bus was a hassle.
