5/5 Stars
Well organized event. Perfect day for running.
No, It’ about 5 minutes off for PR and about 10 minutes off from new BQ standards. I suffered from diarrhea on the first half, and leg/toe cramps at last half, but still enjoyed the day.
Beautiful and fast course.
Had committed training to prepare this event, combined down hill trainings, and some cross trainings. Properly should consider some training run on a zigzagged road.
May taking enough salty juice to prevent cramps. And careful selection of dining prior to the event. It appears that Redlands city have many choices for lodge, and dining. Clothes preparation should still wear light short or tank clothes and check-in earlier morning sweaters to event shuttle bus before run starts.
pretty campus of University of Redlands, fall season color in big bear lakes. I’m traveling from San Diego, CA, the event site is at a nearby location, an easy 1.5 hours drive.
If event organizers can negotiate with event sponsors hotels to provide earlier morning hot meal for runners, it would be a plus.
It was great! Transportation to the start line was smooth. I would like to remind you to start the race with the traditional of signing the National anthem. Please do not neglect this very important aspect. Well the route was scenic and easy to handle. The safety of runners was adequate and can be improved. The finish line was good with booths behind. Oh, dear I can't say more about transportation back to our cars. Weldone REVEL!! I will be there in 2019, I promise.. I love your race and this was my 1st.
Yes, I did. The down slope race helped to get my PR of 2:50. Very proud of that.
Nice and easy. Very scenic. Elevation was good
I train in the city of Loma Linda with the Loma Linda Lopers. I would like to see the First Aide (Medic) station not right there with the water station and porter potties it was just too crowded. Spread the First Aide a little away from all that PLEASE.
To those who are not training in a club/team of marathon racing Please do not take the down slope race for granted. Train, train and avoid injuries. Very important! Check your weather and dress appropriately.
I live locally and train locally, so after race went home.
Great view and nice weather
Yes
Beautiful
Very helpful from Forrest runner group
See you next year

Great race. Beautiful views. The best part was crossing the finish line.

4/5 Stars
Wonderful! Well run friendly race crew. Nice post party! Only issue was the bus driver drove us to the half starting area, not the full.
Yes and a BQ!
Challenging for the first third, then a blast downhill!
18 week 5-6 day running program, weight training and yoga.
Work on proper fueling!
Canyon trail shake out run!
Lots of my friends also ran this race. Lots of fun with friends
No I did not PR. Blisters caused me to slow down
I didn’t quite train the miles I should of due to life situations getting in the way
We only traveled from S riverside county area. Spent the night in a hotel, ended up really close to bus pick up and drop off area
The start was beautiful
Yes, 30 minutes
Great scenery and a true downhill course
Make exact notes about where you park your car. Drop off WAS NOT where u picked up the shuttle. Spent 20 long minutes looking for the car
Shuttle drop off should have been closer to shuttle pick up. Parking in the dead of night then being dropped off at a different location made finding the car very challenging especially on tired legs
Overall gorgeous course and will be back next year
It was just beautiful and the aid stations were just perfect the volunteers were amazing , and the scenery was breathtaking
I did !
Breathtaking !
I trained for 4 months and it was hard but I did it
Tontraub uphill
I ate ! And ate
Can’t wait to do it next year
