    1. Did you PR?

No. Didn't expect to as I was not training as I should or at altitude. Missed by 44 minutes

    2. How would you describe the course?

Well marked. As expected as I had familiarity with the area. Decent surfaces. Adequate water and electrolytes. Pretty.

    3. Tell us about your training.

Splitting time between distance cycling preparation and distant running. Only had two longer runs of 7-9 miles mixed in with many 4-5 mile runs. Not a balance that favors running a half.

    4. What advice would you give future runners?

Have something warm for the wait to start at highest elevations.

    5. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Hiked a day. Went fly fishing with a guide another day. Came from Illinois

    2. Describe your race day.

Well put together. Everyone was so nice and everything ran smoothly. It's too bad there was no gluten free options after the race to eat. I am also dairy free and couldn't eat the yogurt. Still waiting for a race that has those options. Overall a great race would recommend it to others. Thank you for an wonderful experience.

    3. Did you PR?

I did set a PR I was hoping for 2 hrs. I'm still happy with my time.

    4. How would you describe the course?

      Down hill and beautiful

    5. Tell us about your training.

Training this year was not my best. Was injured and didn't have many miles. I have been working with a personal trainer to strengthen my legs and that was saving grace.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Strength training and get your miles in.

    2. Describe your race day.

Great day. An early morning, but everything was smooth from parking to the bus up.
Loved the course and ran the best half of my life.

    3. Did you PR?

Yes. Half marathon PR by over a minute.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Awesome. Such a fast course, but with a few slight uphills that are actually nice breaks from the downhill.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Trained since January with a running group. Ran two full marathons in May. Not sure i'd suggest that as training advice.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Bring the emergency blanket for the start. Don't take the last bus. You may be at the start line longer than you want, but bathroom lines get really long as more buses arrive.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

      Denver

    2. Describe your race day.

Just amazing. The revel run was well organized, friendly, with a great choice of course and amazing finish with good food, good vibe. Definitely will be back-

    3. Did you PR?

No. But a friend wasn't trained up and I anticipated running slower than usual. Still pleasurable-

    4. How would you describe the course?

Good scenery and great volunteers on my way

    2. Describe your race day.

It was cooler than forecasted and overcast until mile 20, making for perfect conditions! Felt good and just rolled with the downhill, which put me ahead of pace. Because of the continued downhill at the end, I surpassed my goal time and felt great! Beautiful scenery in the beginning and end!

    3. Did you PR?

Yes, by 8 minutes and got a solid BQ. I chose this course because my BQ from another marathon 5 weeks ago was only by 90 seconds, so I wanted a bigger cushion to guarantee I could actually register for Boston!

    4. How would you describe the course?

Steady downhill until the town of Evergreen, then 4 or so rolling hills followed by another steep downhill. It mellows our from Kittredge to Ideldale along the river, but then a fast 4 final miles.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Hanson's method leading up to a May marathon, then just maintaining fitness til the Revel. Don't forget it starts at 10,000ft, which even Coloradans might feel.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

I felt the altitude some at the beginning despite being from Ft Collins, so don't discount that. But it's beautiful and a quick course with frequent, great water stops, so enjoy!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Margarita on the rooftop patio of a restaurant in Morrison!
