    2. Describe your race day.

Absolutely beautiful! Everything went smoothly too! I really appreciate all the support offered along the course, and all the port a potties too. The best part of the race is definitely the scenery!! The race started exactly on time, so I commend REVEL for that!

    3. Did you PR?

Yep! 2 minutes faster from my previous PR. Not a big difference, but huge for me because I didn't train as hard for this one as my previous PR.

    4. How would you describe the course?

FAST! I scenery is beautiful and helps take your mind off the actual running. I'm not used to running on that steep of a grade, but I was able to manage it just fine. I didn't notice any difference with elevation.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I slacked on training this time around.. so I don't have any advice to give about training for this one.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Layers, layers, layers! It's really cold at the top and during the first 2 to 3 miles. I like to wear lots of layers and strip them off as I go along.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Nothing, unfortunately. I'm already from the area and didn't stick around the race afterward. One fun thing to do after the race is to go to Octoberfest and celebrate your success!

    2. Describe your race day.

Great race! I'd like to see more food such as chocolate milk and fruit at the finish line. I ran the half and was able to get some but the rest of my family ran the full marathon and there wasn't much of anything left, especially chocolate milk. Try to spread it out more or buy more! Otherwise I love the canyon and the race! I'll do it every year!

    3. Did you PR?

Yes! Not sure by how much but I did!

    4. How would you describe the course?

      Beautiful!

    5. Tell us about your training.

Sadly I didn't get as long of runs in but I did well today! My longest run was 5-6 miles before this half marathon.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

      Train!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Traveled from Pleasant Grove, stayed in midvale with my sister.

    2. Describe your race day.

I ran 16 miles ending at 2 am race day as a sweeper for the Wasatch 100. I think I left my legs back somewhere near Spruces Campground

    3. Did you PR?

      No

    4. How would you describe the course?

      Great. I prefer trails.

    5. Tell us about your training.

      Didn't.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Do LOTS of "road" downhill in training.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Helped a fellow Wasatch 100 Conrad into mile 47 aid at midnight. She was cramping and couldn't get anything to stay in her stomach.

Great race guys but I think I will stick to the trails. First time doing this run, but find road running numbing to my head. Greatm, great course for marathoners though.

Fantastic! It was one of the most organized and fun race events I have attended. I will definitely be back!

    3. Did you PR?

Nope - but I just signed up two days ago with no training whatsoever. Next year will be different....!

    4. How would you describe the course?

Fun, gorgeous, fast, favorite one in Utah.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Didn't train at all - nope. Nada. I don't recommend that strategy.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

To do this race!! So fun. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and volunteers. Amazing pacers!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Hung out afterwards. Super fun atmosphere with all the people, food, and band. Good job!

    2. Describe your race day.

It was amazing. Everyone seamed very coordinated; the volunteers and people working the event. There wasn't any confusion about where to go. The whole attmosphere was positive, which made for an enjoyable day.

    3. Did you PR?

No. But I finished within the time frame I set for myself.

    4. How would you describe the course?

The scenery was breath taking. The grade and elevation were not that bad. Because there was so much to look at my mind wasn't focused on the road.

    5. Tell us about your training.

I ran 3 days a week totaling 20- 30 miles. I strength trained by going to Pure Barre 3 days a week and rested 1 day a week. I used my fitness pal to keep track of my nutrition. I have to actually make sure I eat enough when I run because it decreases my appetite. When I did long runs I would use GU. I need to figure out my portions for the GU because if I eat too much it upsets my stomache.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Definitely find some sort of training plan and go at a pace that's right for you. Everyone runs on a different level. It's good to push yourself, but not to the point of injury.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I live in Herriman Utah, so I went home and took a nap!

    2. Describe your race day.

First half. Beautiful scenery. Perfect weather. Very organized. Aid stations awesome. No complaints! Great day!

    3. Did you PR?

First race but I was very happy with my results.

    4. How would you describe the course?

Parts of it were pretty steep but very beautiful. We are from TX so it was hard to train for the hills, but actually didn't botger me too much. Pretty sore but I expected that.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Just did a lot of walking /running. Started early, took it easy 3 days before race. Ate a light but filling meal the night before. Again, it was my first one so I'm just learning.

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

We drove. Probably fly next time. Check out all the cool gadgets at the EXPO. I got some awesome things. Don't wear, eat or adjust your normal routine. 'If it ain't broke , don't fix it'.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

We drove from TX. We have kids and friends here, so we hung out with them.

    2. Describe your race day.

Loved it. Everything was so organized!

    3. Did you PR?

      Yes, 1 minute. No-

    4. How would you describe the course?

      Scenic, comfortable elevation.

    5. Tell us about your training.

Running up and down mountain trails. I would've starTed training earlier for a better pace. Start training early and practice on inclines and declines!

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Bring something to keep you warm before start, wear good shoes, use body glide, pace yourself, stop for water when you need to, and definitely train!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

BEAUTIFUL! Stunning! Gorgeous! There is a hill around mile 3 but the course is basically all downhill.
