    2. Describe your race day.

This race took my breath away! It is so beautiful and so fast! This is my third half marathon and by far my favorite! I shaved 15 mins off my last half marathon time! I will admit that at one point I started crying because the mountains were so beautiful! I can't wait to do this again!!!! The aid stations were very helpful and everything was amazing!

    3. Did you PR?

I shaved 15 mins off my last half marathon time! I finally got a time that I'm proud of.

    4. How would you describe the course?

The first 4 miles of the course were a gradual downhill and slow got faster and faster. The scenery was so beautiful that I didn't even think about the blisters that were waiting for me at the finish line. All in all it was amazing! A fast course with beautiful scenes... You couldn't ask for more!

    5. Tell us about your training.

I was actually pretty lazy with my training this time around. I did a couple of down hill runs and my longest training day was only 8 miles. I didn't feel as prepared as I would have liked to. But this course was so fast that I still PR'd!

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

All I can say is train as hard as you can! Prepare yourself mentally and physically and you will be successful. If I would have put more into my training I would have been even faster!

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I live in draper Utah so I didn't have to travel for the race. I enjoyed all the activities they had at the expo center for the packet pick up and all the great treats at the end.

Beautiful first 18, amazingly well supported

    3. Did you PR?

Yes! 18 min off my time!

    4. How would you describe the course?

Amazing first, challenging out and back, hell finish. Need roads closed, running between two rows of cars sucks. A lot.

    5. Tell us about your training.

      Trained like a boss

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Run down the canyon in trainibg

    2. Describe your race day.

Amazing experience. From the shuttles to the staging area, with the start & all of the support on the course this race has been my favorite marathon to date. Bag pick up was easy and efficient, and the volunteers were knowledgeable and most hospitable. Thank you for a great race!

    3. Did you PR?

Yes! Came in in three hours flat and earned a BQ! My previous PR was 3:05:12

    4. How would you describe the course?

Great. Enjoyed the views, the downhill grades and miles 18-23 wasn't as bad as I thought. Thank goodness for mile 24! That downhill stretch was a saving grace and the finishing chute support was awesome!

    5. Tell us about your training.

I didn't start training for this race til about 4 weeks ago. Got in one long run at 6700 ft altitude. The downhill profile helped make up for a lack of thorough training :)

    6. What advice would you give future runners?

Include downhill to uphill segments in your training. I passed a lot of marathoners between miles 19-23, who seemed to let the change in profile affect their race paces.

    7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Nothing yet, I flew in the evening before. Looking forward to trying the local beer tonight! Came from Hesperia CA
